Ben Henry:  Ben is a Licensed Irrigator (LI 5471), Certified Landscape Irrigation Auditor, and a Professional Landscape Architect with CLARB certification and licensure in eight states. He started his career with a multi-disciplinary private consulting group, working on large land development projects until 1997, after which he moved into a public sector role as the Park Planning and Construction Superintendent for a local DFW municipality.  In 2002, he joined ADAMS | Engineering and Development Consultants and currently serves as the Director of Landscape Architecture. Ben is a strong proponent of sustainable best practices and is a LEED Accredited Professional with a specialty in Building Design + Construction.  Ben is a graduate of Texas Tech University with a degree in landscape architecture and has been a member of the Lone Star Irrigation Association since 2004.

Helen Lewis:  Helen holds both her Texas Irrigators license (LI 6880) and Backflow Prevention Assembly Tester license (BP 6656).  She has worked part time with Sundance Irrigation Training and has served on the Scholarship committe of LSIA since its beginning.  Helen is married to Licensed Irrigator/Backflow Tester Jerry R. Lewis who owns Sundance Training.  Their son, Justin Lewis, is also a licensed irrigator and backflow tester.  Helen graduated with honors with a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre and Speech/Debate from the University of North Texas in 1973 and continued at UNT with hours toward her Masters degree.  She had been involved with competitive forensics and educational theatre for 35 years as a classroom teacher, director, clinician, contest manager and judge. She retired from the teaching profession in May of 2011.  She now serves as an University Interscholastic League One-Act Play adjudicator for high schools and junior high schools around the state, as well as a Buckley judge of high school musicals in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.

Jeff Godbold: Jeff is the owner of Godbold Landscape Services Inc., a full service landscape and irrigation business located in Arlington.  He has been a licensed irrigator since 1996.  Jeff has a mechanical engineering degree from UTA.  He lives in Arlington with his wife Holli and son Evan. 

Jerry Lewis:  Jerry R. Lewis, a Texas Licensed Irrigator since 1982, holds Texas license number LI 1251.  He holds certifications as a Certified Landscape Irrigation Auditor, Texas Backflow Prevention Assembly Tester, Customer Service Inspector,  as well as Texas Commission on Environmental Quality training provider.  Jerry has served as a Texas Plumbing Inspector and has held water and wastewater certifications.  In his public service career, he has held positions across the state as Director of Parks and Recreation, City Manager and General Manager of Utility Districts.  With a Bachelor of Science from Abilene Christian University as well as Masters work at Texas A & M University, Jerry provides training throughout the state in Basic Irrigation, Backflow Prevention Assembly Testing, and various Continuing Education courses. He is the owner and instructor of Sundance Training of Keller, Texas.  With a dedicated interest in water quality and its conservation, Jerry has served as the Executive Director, Director and Scholarship Chairman of the Lone Star Irrigation Association. In 2009 he completed a six year term on the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality Irrigator Advisory Council. During his time on the council he served as chair of the Education, Legislation, and Rules committees, and is a past Chairman of the Advisory Council.

Chuck Bahr:   Chuck has been a licensed Irrigator since 2001 (LI 8212). He also is a licensed Backflow Tester, Certified Landscape Irrigation Auditor-Texas A&M, and one of only about 48 TCEQ licensed Irrigation Inspectors in the state.  He currently works as a Regional Account Manager for AMC Industries, based in San Antonio, which offers product and services related to turf, golf irrigation, domestic water systems, and environmental construction.  Previously, he has worked in management for the nation’s third largest landscape maintenance corporation, one of the major irrigation manufacturers, and 21 years in the Public Sector.  He has a business degree from LeTourneau College and a Master’s Degree from the University of North Texas.

John Debrei:  John has had 20 years experience in greenhouse/Nursery stock growing.  In addition to this, he has owned and operated a full service Landscape Services company including irrigation repair/installation/ drip/high efficiency watering systems,design/build landscape, hardscapes, lawn and landscape maintenance, lawn care, drainage repair and installation, sump pumps, and other special customer services for over 20 Years.

Kurt Kauffman: Kurt holds license number LI0006468.  He is the owner of Unique Landscaping Design And Construction Inc in Colleyville,Texas since 1986 providing landscape design services and retail trees sales.  Kurt earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Agriclulture/Horticulture from Tarleton State University.  He is a member of Collin County Hobby Beekeepers Association as well as the Texas Beekeepers Association.
